Goowy
A flash based email thingy, complete with Widgets, such as Calender and Games. It looks very slick, and has 2GB of storage, so if you don’t feel like Gmail, and want an even cooler interface then choose Goowy. I rather like it, seeing as it is a fresh idea in a field of identical webmail services, and put it this way, it’s a darn sight better than Mailnation, but still I think I am wedded to Gmail for the moment.
Retrobrick
The name says it all, you can buy the worlds first proper mobile phone on here, except that instead of costing $4000, it will cost you £59! Best of all, they all work, and some of them are digital, so you could use them in the real world. The website is also a UK site which is nice.

Custom iPod Earphones

Sure, it may look a bit like blu-tac, and sure they won’t actually sound much better, but then you will be sure not to get mugged with these sticking out of your ears. These, are DIY mouldable silicon bits, to make your iPod earphones fit better. Apparantely they also cut out background noise, but they aren’t exactly cool though.
Sony, you damn hackers
I really hate those stupid spyware infested media players (cough, realplayer, cough), they fill your PC up with crap, but I would have thought that Sony would be above it. Protected CD’s are bad enough, especially ones that only play in the bundled media player, but it turns out that they were also installing rootkits, which hog system resources and, if you attempt to delete them could disable your CD drive. Major Suckage, don’t buy Sony, and then they might get the hint not to DRM CD’s!
Thank God for internet media
A few days ago, I found myself wondering why I bother to watch the news anymore. Part of the reason may be because it saves me from having to read all the individual news stories, and also because watching it on the internet gives me eyestrain. Anyway, I was really really annoyed to find that the top story was some guy in the US government, with a funny name (Lewis Scooter-Libby) had had to resign over some legal truth bending about exposing CIA agents (yawn). I will stop here to save you from dying of boredom. This is strange, seeing as I can’t see why us in the UK will be interested in American political advisers resigning, I doubt if that much fuss would be made in the States, if Tony Blair was exposed as a child sex abuser, which is a lot more interesting. That’s why I’m very glad to be able to escape from the interminable boredom of resigning American advisers and into the world of badger cams catching criminals, Xbox’s being released 22months ahead of the PS3 and robots with skin. Well at least they are amusing and I can always find out about the Asian Earthquake as well. All I have to put up with now is John Peel day (every day), so on you bike Lewis. Or should that be scooter?
Something to do with an AOL CD

Subject it to
1000 volts, in a tesla coil. Not the kind of thing you usually find lying around really. But im sure you cant think of other things. Comment with your own ideas.
Simile Generator
It’s called an idea generator, but I found that the end result is more like fancy similes than ideas. It takes a while, is a waste of time but is an interesting idea. Pite they didn’t execute it too well.
